Hello, Ducklings!
This week Madame Evil began the long process of moving her nest so this week's work may be slower than normal. This week we focused on organizing our tasking and documenting out system structure.
The Great EVIL Plan
This week we cleaned up our Hack N Plan board and assigned new tasking that relates to the rework we are doing.
Every EVIL Plan starts with EVIL Notes
The Dark Occult Arts Duck and Madame Evil worked together to start the documentation for the general system structure plan that will be used to rework S.A.M and for future projects! They hope this plan will act as a good base for any game down the road.
What about that EVIL Word Wizard, Kevin?
Kevin has been working on editing the last of the first three podcasts for us but he has also scheduled meetings to review the first draft of the story. Since the last blog post, Madame Evil and he were able to talk about the story changes that will aid with balancing S.A.M out and he agreed!
This of course means that the story will need to go through numerous edits and reworks to ensure that it retains its true EVIL nature, but we're excited to see what he comes up with in the end.
Speaking of pond-casts...
The group has been working on planning the next three podcasts and when to record them. This time it won't be the next Fine-feathered v. Fowled but various topics they would like to explore! They're playing around with the following topics:
How Defining Your Audience Can Make or Break Your Game.
How do you overcome your own biases to become a developer instead of just a player?
How do we define "a game"?
Benefits and shortcomings of digital tabletop games.
These are just a few topics they've been thinking about lately that they're excited to sit down and talk about more in-depth. With the recording and editing of these three next podcasts we believe they'll be in a good position to start releasing a pondcast monthly as well! This means the first introductory podcast may or may not be released in the coming months! Very exciting and very EVIL ducklings.
Future Plans?
Well, ducklings, EVIL never sleeps...literally. We'll be hard at work this week attempting to get our Hack N Plan board moved along. We also hope to have more news on story adjustments and future podcast topics! Otherwise, remember to be your true EVIL selves and we'll quack at you next week!
